After Debate Win, Sheri Biggs Demands Burns Confess the Truth

ANDERSON, SC – After winning last night's televised debate, Lieutenant Colonel Sheri Biggs has called her opponent, Mark Burns, a fraud and is demanding Burns admit the truth about his questionable campaign loan arrangement, his failure to file the required federal financial disclosure, his delinquent taxes, and his residency.

"Last night, Mark Burns claimed to be a pitbull, when in reality he is a chihuahua - with a loud bark and no bite. He is a fraud. Mark Burns' rhetoric doesn't match reality, and the people of South Carolina's Third Congressional District deserve to know the truth.

After raising less than $20,000, how did Mark Burns convince an out-of-state bank to loan him $500,000 by collateralizing future contributions or was it that no South Carolina bank would loan him money because he was still in debt of more than $100,000 from his previous runs in the other district?

What is he trying to hide from the people of South Carolina's Third Congressional District by failing to follow House ethics and file the federally required financial disclosure?

Does he further believe he is above the law or does he simply think the tax burdens that the people of South Carolina's Third Congressional District have to pay don't apply to him?

If he is a true MAGA, America First patriot, does he not believe in election integrity? Why did he file his voter registration at an address that isn't his residence - a property zoned commercial that houses his businesses - not himself, with boarded up window and a handicapped parking sign out front?

As a self-proclaimed Man of God, if Mark Burns believes in The Truth, he should admit the truth.

As I showed last night, I am committed to fighting for our Christian conservative values, providing transparency and accountability, and representing our district with integrity. I would be truly humbled and honored to give South Carolina's Third Congressional District the servant leadership they deserve."
